The deadline for both programmes is 8 April. The stays can be planned between August 2021 and January 2022). The aim of these programmes is to enable scientists/academicians and former DAAD scholarship holders to carry out short-term research in Germany.
2021 sees yet another year with many activities in the field of German Studies supported by the DAAD. The annual Nachwuchssymposium for Research Scholars in the Field of German Studies, the Dhoch3 Project focussing on digitalisation of teaching German as a foreign language, and the new Lektor Dr Heidemann at the Delhi University, to mention a few highlights.
The DAAD New Delhi is organising a web session for researchers, faculty, academicians and institutional representatives from institutions in India and the region (Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Bhutan). The web session will focus on initiating cooperation and cooperation-based funding opportunities. The web session will be held on Thursday, 11 March from 16:00 to 18:00 IST.

Find Funding Programmes
German universities, as is the case all over the world, have broad networks of international partners. Through cooperation programmes among higher education institutions, DAAD supports German universities in expanding these networks.
Scholarship Holders
In the eyes of the DAAD, the end of a funding period marks the beginning of a long-standing relationship with us. We aim to stay in touch with our alumni as well as help you get to know one another through a series of programmes and activities. We also support you in setting up regional DAAD alumni clubs and other forms of networking opportunities.
