Meet with Representatives from Sri Lankan Universities

The meeting was organised in Colombo. Directors of Career Guidance Units and International Affairs Offices from nine universities in Sri Lanka including University of Kelaniya, Open University of Sri Lanka, University of Moratuwa, Wayamba University of Sri Lanka, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, University of Ruhuna, General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University, Ocean University of Sri Lanka, University of Colombo and University of Peradeniya attended this lunch meeting.
DAAD Sri Lanka also bid farewell to two former Research Ambassadors of the DAAD from the term 2022–2025, Prof. Ishanka Karunaratne (from University of Kelaniya) and Dr. Chamila Dias (from Open University of Sri Lanka) and warmly welcomed the newly appointed Research Ambassadors for the term 2025 – 2028 Prof. Asankha Pallegedara (Wayamba University of Sri Lanka), Dr. Lishani Wijewardena (University of Ruhuna) and Dr. K. Sarveswaran (University of Jaffna) during this event. DAAD Sri Lanka also did a presentation on study, research and scholarship opportunities in Germany.
DAAD Sri Lanka looks forward to the new year with more academic and research collaborations between Sri Lanka and Germany.
