DAAD Scholarship Certificate Handing-over Ceremonies

The scholarships that the awardees have received are University Summer Courses, WISE – Working Internships in Science and Engineering, EPOS – Development-related Postgraduate Courses, PPGG – Public Policy & Good Governance, GSSP – Graduate School Scholarship Programme, Research Stays, Reinvitation and Bilateral Exchange of Academics. Scholarship awardees are yet to be announced for DAAD flagship programmes such as PhD, PhD Sandwich and IIT Master Sandwich Programme.

The first of these ceremonies in India was held in Chennai and was hosted at the residence of the Consul General of Germany in Chennai, Michaela Kuechler. The next handing-over ceremonies took place in Mumbai (7 May), Delhi (8 May), Bengaluru (8 May) and Kolkata (9 May). The action began on 25 April in Colombo with eleven scholarship holders receiving their certificates from the Ambassador of Germany to Sri Lanka H.E. Dr Felix Neumann.
