The University of Koblenz-Landau is a young, medium-sized university. The university’s academic profile is characterised by programmes in education, the humanities, cultural studies, the social sciences and natural sciences as well as computer science in Koblenz and psychology in Landau. These programmes form the basis of a diverse range of other programmes and continuing-education courses as well as of basic and applied research.
Their special programme, Master’s degree E-Government, a research-oriented degree program that qualifies in various areas of the adoption of information and communication technologies in the public sector will also be introduced. It builds on competencies in undergraduate computer science courses such as information systems, information management, computer science or similar courses and provides a special master in the design and use of information systems as well as the IT management of governments and public administrations.
